Professional preformed suspension clamp suspension set for OPGW

Application:

OPGW preformed suspension clamp is mainly used to support the suspend OPGW cable. It is suitable for the OPGW cable, conductor and grounding wire on transmission line. It is recommended used on the line with turning angle less than 30 degree.

Features:
Reasonable distribution of static stress, good endurance capacity for
dynamic stress (such as vibration and waving). The grip strength to cable can
reach 10%~20% of cable’s ultimate tension strength.
No rigidity contact with cable(conductor), minimum abrasion.
Excellent materials make the clamp has good elasticity, well tenacity, strong
fatigue resistance, well corrosion resistance and long & safe service life.
Not only protecting cable, its round and smooth outer shape can reduce the
corona discharge and electromagnetic loss immensely.

Composition: Inner reinforcing rod, outer rod, rubber insert, suspension housing, grounding wire, etc.

Material of inner reinforcing rods and outer rods: Aluminum alloy wires.
Customers can choose linking fittings according to the design requiements, such as U-shackle, clevis, Eye chain, etc.

Partial model parameters

E.g.: OPGW cable diameter is 12.85mm, the required grip strength is 5KN, the
model no. will be SHX-O1285/005.
Used “0” ahead when the number of cable diameter ×10 2 is less than 4 figures.
For example, OPGW cable diameter is 9.5mm, the required grip strength is
2KN, the model no. will be SHX-O0950/002.
** The length of preformed rods is subject to the practical length of
commodities supplied.
Notice: The above table just listed partial model parameter. Before ordering
products, you should confirm the diameter, and the RTS of the cable, then you
can know the product model no. of the suspension clamp. According to the
relevant technical regulations in China, the grip strength of ADSS suspension
clamp must reach over 10%~20% of cable’s RTS

.E.g.: OPGW cable diameter is 13.60mm, the RTS is 65.4 KN, required grip
strength is 10% RTS, the method to confirm the model no. is:13.60×10 2 =1360
65.4×14% =9.156 ≈10 (KN)
So the model no. of suspension clamp is SHX-O1360/010.
E.g.: OPGW cable diameter is 12.85mm, the RTS is 55.4 KN, required grip
strength is 15% RTS, the method to confirm the model no. is:
12.85×10 2 =1285
55.4×15% =8.31≈9 (KN)
So the model no. of suspension clamp is SHX – O1285/009.
If cable’s RTS is big, but the operating tension of usage is a small, you can
choose the grip strength for suspension clamp according to practical needs.
