2020 professional preformed suspension clamp suspension set for ADSS

Application: The preformed suspension clamp for ADSS is mainly used to suspend the overhead self-supporting optical fiber cable onto tower or pole. It is recommended to use on the line with angle less than 30 degrees.

Components: The preformed suspension clamp is made of inner reinforcing rod, outer rod, rubber insert, suspension housing etc.

Customers can choose linking fittings according to the requirements of design, such as U-shackle, clevis, chain link, etc

Material of inner reinforcing rods and outer rods: Aluminum alloy wires.

Partial model parameters

E.g.: ADSS cable diameter is 12.85mm, the required grip strength is 5KN, the
model no. will be SHX-A1285/005.

Used “0” ahead when the number of cable diameter ×10 2 is less than 4 figures.
For example, ADSS cable diameter is 9.5mm, the required grip strength is
2KN, the model no. will be SHX-A0950/002.
If you use span to mark model no., you should change “/” to “-” and take a
brackets after it then mark the span in it, e.g.: SHN-AXXXX-(400m). Pay
attention to special reminding: if you use span to mark it you must give the
meteorology parameters of the environmental conditions such as the
maximum wind speed, the maximum ice coating, temperature (the maximum
and the minimum)
** The length of preformed rods is subject to the practical length of
commodities supplied.
Notice: The above table just listed partial model parameter. Before ordering
products, you should confirm the diameter, and the RTS of the cable, then you
can know the product model no. of the suspension clamp. The usage range of
cable diameter in the model parameters allows a certain tolerance. According
to the relevant technical regulations in China, the grip strength of ADSS
suspension clamp must reach 15%~20% of cable’s RTS.
If the cable’s RTS is big, but the required operating tension is small, you can
choose the grip strength for suspension clamp according to practical needs.
E.g.1: ADSS cable diameter is 13.60mm, the limit RTS is 62.5KN, required
grip strength is 10% RTS, so the method to confirm the model no. of
suspension clamp is:
13.60×10 2 =1360
62.5×10% =6.25 ≈7 (KN)
So the model no. of Suspension clamp is SHX-A1360/007.
E.g.2: ADSS cable diameter is 12.85mm, the limit RTS is 55.4KN, required
grip strength is 12% RTS, so the method to confirm the model no. of
suspension clamp is:
12.85×10 2 =1285
55.4×12% =6.648≈7 (KN)
So the model no. of suspension clamp is SHX-A1285/007.
