Structure and Principle:
The suspension clamp consists of a group of preformed armour rods,
suspension housing and rubber insert unit. The preformed armour rods are
used to wrap around the conductor so as to produce grip strength and hold the
conductor tightly.
Application:
Preformed suspension clamp is mainly used on the overhead
transmission line, ground wire and so on. Its function is similar with common
suspension clamp. Its advantage will present mostly on the line with ultrahigh
voltage of more than 110KV and large span. The suspension clamp has two
types. One is single suspension clamp and the other is double suspension
clamp. The double suspension clamp is suitable for the line with span over 800
meters or corner between 30 and 60 degree.
